THE BIRTH OF KOKOBROWN SWIM

Since my childhood in Marie-Galante, I've always loved fashion. As a child, I enjoyed trying on colorful outfits, mixing styles, and I already dreamed of creating my own swimwear brand one day.

Deep down, I knew I wanted to create fashion that spoke to island girls – those who carry the sun within them, and who proudly embrace their curves and their freedom.

Since my childhood in Marie-Galante, I've always loved fashion. As a child, I enjoyed trying on colorful outfits, mixing styles, and I already dreamed of creating my own swimwear brand one day.

Deep down, I knew I wanted to create fashion that spoke to island women, and not just them.
To all those who carry the sun within them, and who proudly embrace their curves and their freedom.

Over time, this love for fashion also led me to photography, despite my shyness and insecurities.
At 23, during my first photoshoot, I had an epiphany.
Posing in front of the lens was a revelation: it was then that I understood that fashion could be a means of expression, a way to embrace my body, my identity, my presence, and above all, to feel beautiful.

At 30, this childhood dream became a woman's challenge.
I took the plunge: left my job, my family, my friends, to fly alone 18,000 kilometers away — heading to Bali.

A radical choice, guided by a single compass: my passion and my determination.

Bali became the ground where I learned, experimented, and built each step of KOKOBROWN SWIM.
From designing models to sourcing fabrics, from production monitoring to the first shoots: I handled everything from A to Z.

This journey was not just a simple geographical displacement, but the starting point of an entrepreneurial and profoundly human adventure.

KOKOBROWN SWIM was born to celebrate the singularity and strength of women of the sun.
Through pieces with original, sensual, and assertive cuts, each swimsuit is designed to enhance silhouettes and free bodies.

It's much more than "a Caribbean swimwear brand," KOKOBROWN SWIM embodies a vision: that of a dream come true and a vibrant tribute to all free, radiant, sensual, and unique women.
